About the Role
We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Audio Engineer Intern to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music technology and eager to make an impact in the indie music scene. As part of our team, you will work remotely with occasional opportunities to join live event productions on our V!BE$ O-T-G Double Decker Bus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in audio setup and operations for live broadcasts and recorded shows.
- Support sound mixing, editing, and mastering for various radio segments.
- Collaborate with producers to create audio content that aligns with V!BE$ 88.8SD's indie ethos.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment and software remotely.
- Engage with artists and technical teams to ensure high-quality audio production.
- Participate in special projects, including mobile events and promotional activities.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Production, or related field.
- Proficient with digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
- Enthusiastic about independent music and digital broadcast media.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
- Creative and proactive in solving technical issues.
- Available to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
