It wasn't long before she joined "TROOP," a hip-hop dance group dedicated to providing a safe space for underprivileged youth. Her talent quickly shone through, leading her to prestigious training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Pointe at Visual Performing Arts Middle and High Schools.
Rising Through the Ranks
Her raw talent and dedication caught the eye of renowned choreographer Jamaica Craft. Naeemah's ability to learn complex choreographies in record time propelled her onto the stage with Amerie, marking the beginning of an illustrious career. From touring with Sesame Street Live as Elmo, Zoe, and Abby to dazzling audiences as a lead dancer in Universal Soul Circus, Naeemah's versatility and skill have always set her apart.
A Choreographer and Creative Force
Naeemah's journey didn't stop at dancing. Her keen sense of movement and storytelling evolved into choreography, working alongside some of the industry's best, like Aakomon "AJ" Jones and Fatima Robinson. Her creative vision led her to direct high-impact performances for artists like Usher, Chris Brown, and Beyoncé, including a memorable performance at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show.
The Birth of Nah Nah
Beyond dancing and choreography, Naeemah ventured into singing, songwriting, and acting. Her dynamic stage presence and captivating voice have earned her roles in movies like "Beat Street 2012" and a Las Vegas Residency Show, "Illuminate," as DJ "LBoogie". Under the moniker "Nah Nah," she has signed with the label "ClassikMussik," ready to release new music that promises to enchant her audience once again.
Inspiring Through Entrepreneurship
Naeemah's entrepreneurial spirit led her to found MatteBlaq LLC and Beyond The Movement LLC, the latter introducing "KNEEMAHPANTS," a dance pant with built-in knee pads. These ventures underscore her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the dance community and beyond.

Despite facing challenges, including being underestimated due to her petite stature, Naeemah's journey is a beacon of resilience. Her ability to dance "bigger" and command the stage has shattered stereotypes and inspired countless aspiring dancers.
